World of Real Estate Journal (also known as Świat nieruchomości in Polish) is a scientific publication on real estate and investment, offering articles from economic, social, spatial and legal perspectives and building a platform for research exchange across Europe.

World of Real Estate Journal (WOREJ), or Świat nieruchomości (ŚN) in Polish, is the oldest Polish academic journal dedicated to real estate studies. World of Real Estate Journal is an international peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on real estate markets, urban economics, and related fields. Since its establishment in 1991, the journal has sought to bridge theoretical rigor with practical relevance by publishing high-quality research that addresses contemporary challenges in:
- real estate economics,
- real estate investment,
- real estate finance,
- real estate management,
- housing markets, affordability and policy,
- urban economics,
- spatial planning and development,
- sustainability in real estate.
From 2008 to 2022 the journal was published by the Foundation of the Cracow University of Economics. Since 2025 it has been issued by the Krakow University of Economics as a biannual scholarly journal.
World of Real Estate Journal welcomes empirical studies, conceptual frameworks, literature reviews, and case studies that contribute to the understanding of real estate phenomena from economic, spatial, social, and legal perspectives. Emphasis is placed on research that enhances comparative insights across European markets, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe, and that promotes evidence-based decision-making for academics, policymakers, and practitioners. Recent issues have featured contributions from authors representing England, Bulgaria, Croatia, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, and Italy.
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review by two independent reviewers, and review materials are archived. Each published article includes an abstract in English. The journal is committed to maintaining high academic standards and disseminating high-quality research on real estate and investment.
